When the Lion Roars
We are still in the not-so-wild wilderness celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles. I spoke today on the roaring of the Lion of Judah.
Luke 19:27 is a parable about a King. But, it also describes what Yeshua will do when He returns as King of Kings. This verse says, "But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me."
It is hard to imagine Yeshua saying this. But, He will. When He returns with a sword in His mouth, as Revelation 19 reveals, the adversaries of the Kingdom will perish.
Like a Lion, He seizes the prey from the mighty. Just picture a lion pulling the kill from another animal’s jaws. In a spiritual sense, Yeshua seizes the prey also. He seizes people who are wandering far from God, and pulls them from the jaws of mighty sin.
Before I finished today, half of the room was weeping. For the most part, I’m not sure why. But, I am sure that when the Spirit of the Almighty touches us, we are never the same.
