Messiah in the feasts

Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, prophetically fulfilled the Spring Feasts. He will prophetically fulfill the Fall Feasts in a future year.

Spring Feasts

  • Passover, Nisan 14, Spring Feast, Yeshua, the Passover Lamb, was crucified on Passover to atone for sin.

  • Feast of Unleavened Bread, Nisan 15-21, Unleavened Bread is the time of Yeshua’s burial. He was unleavened and sin-free.

  • Feast of Firstfruits, Nisan 17, Yeshua rose from the dead on the Feast of Firstfruits, as the firstftruits of the dead (1st Corinthians 15:20).

  • Feasts of Weeks, Sivan 5-6, Yeshua said God would send the disciples a gift. Just as He said, He sent the Holy Spirit to the Upper Room on this feast day.

    Fall Feasts

  • Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, Points to the future resurrection of the dead because they rise at the last trumpet.

  • Day of Atonement, Tishri 10, Suggests a future judgment when Yeshua, the High Priest, intercedes for believers.

  • Feast of Tabernacles, Tishri 15-21, Indicates a future millennium when Yeshua will tabernacle on earth to rule and reign.
